Significant Groundwater Recharge

Complete

General Description
Full Name Significant Groundwater Recharge
Abstract Significant Groundwater Recharge Areas (SGRA) are responsible for supporting groundwater discharge that helps sustain sensitive features like coldwater streams and wetlands. The SGRA delineation methodology employs particle tracking techniques to identify, visualize and quantify the groundwater flow paths between the ecological feature and the recharge area. This dataset is part of Drinking Water Source Protection (DWSP). Rideau Valley Conservation Authority (RVCA) and Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA) are partners comprising the Mississippi-Rideau Source Protection Region - https://www.mrsourcewater.ca/en/
